I haven't done this at all with this PSP. (snes9xtyl 0.4.2 ME and UO gpsp kai 3.4 test 1 build 2)Īlso, I remember back in the day I used to have to create GAME150 folders in PSP's directory for some of these emulators. I used this link to see what emulators to download: I did buy the system used, so maybe the memory card that came with it could be a fake and is causing problems? It is a Sony 4 GB one though. Does anyone know what could be wrong? FWIW, PS1 games run fine and without any hiccups. I really have no idea what to do at this point. The games play their opening videos/whatever, then get to the games' main menus where you can choose start game, and usually after I try to start a game, it just goes to a black screen and then I have to either exit the emulator or turn off the PSP if that doesn't work.Īnyone have any idea what's going on? I used to have a PSP 1000 a few years ago and remember running GBA games on it no problem, and while some SNES games had their issues, it was not nearly as bad as this. I'm only trying to run GBA and SNES emulators, but for GBA, Advance Wars shows no dialog in the dialog boxes, Super Mario World has graphical glitches at the top of the screen (especially the levels with clouds above you), and the Mega Man Zero games also have graphical glitches.Īs far as SNES goes, I haven't gotten any game to get past the start screen yet.

My firmware is 6.60 PRO-C, but it seems like the emulators hardly run any games at all without serious issues. Hey guys, I seem to be having a problem with SNES and GBA emulation on my PSP. ↳ Smartphones (Android, iStuff, tablets. How would i go about uninstalling the CFW on 6.60, so i could use the downgrader, seen here: I want to know whether this method would work okay, or if there's a more straight forward way of doing it. The plan is to somehow uninstall PRO-C2 (Which i made permanent by running the flasher), downgrade back to 6.35 from 6.60 OFW using 6.XX downgrader V4 and then reinstall CFW onto 6.35. I'm very new to modding PSP's, so i am not entirely sure how to go about doing it. ZeroRCO Patcher works with version 6.35, maximum.ĬXMB can work with 6.35 too, so it makes sense to downgrade to that version. As well as CXMB, i would also like to install ZeroRCO Patcher, which will allow me to add custom Gameboots, Waves and Cintros safely without the risk of bricking. I tried using it but the device just crashes when installing a new 6.60 compatible theme. I want to install CXMB, but it only works on 6.60 PRO-9/10, ME and LME. I'm having trouble finding homebrew which is compatible with the firmware version. I recently installed the latest CFW, version 6.60 PRO-C2, onto my PSP 1003.
